Nokia's 2018 Flagship Android Phone Leaked Online Rendering Snapdragon 845 And Penta-lens Camera
Seems like HMD Global are working on a Lumia 1020-like Nokia-branded Android smartphone. Some of us probably remember that in 2013 after acquiring the Nokia’s Devices and Services division, Microsoft unveiled the flagship Lumia 1020 smartphone. At that time, Lumia 1020, the Nokia flagship smartphone, was arguably the best camera phone and the impressive performance of 41-megapixel camera lens stunned everyone.
Yesterday, a new rumour has appeared on Baidu claiming that the Finnish company (HMD Global) is working to bring yet another innovative-quality device to the market. The Nokia 2018 flagship Android smartphone will be unveiled later this year and it may feature a Penta-lens camera setup, similar to the camera technology of the Lumia 1020.
According to Nokialatest, the camera setup on the rumoured Nokia appears to be interesting. The source familiar with Foxconn’s R&D business claims that the phone’s circular camera will feature five lenses. The circular camera will have seven holes, five for the lenses and two for LED flash.
Based on the report, HMD has a new prototype ready and it features the Penta-lens camera setup. The rumoured flagship Nokia phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor. We still don’t know about the release date of the new Nokia phone but it’s likely that the phone would enter production in Spring, and it could be released later this year.
The rumour also adds that the Nokia 8 (2018) won’t arrive at MWC 2018 as it is yet to enter the mass production.
After so many rumours, Nokia will be at MWC to unveil the global variant of the Nokia 7 smartphone and Nokia 9 flagship phone with Snapdragon 835 processor. Anyways, what do you think about this device, do you think that it'll be dubbed Nokia 10 - hence the Nokia 9, 8, 7 are all set. Let us know via the comment box
