New Leak Renders Nokia 10's Penta-lens Camera Design
HMD-owned Nokia is reportedly working on a phone which is being reminiscent of the Lumia 1020, a Microsoft-Nokia branded Windows Phone with a 41-megapixel camera released back in 2013. Previously, we reported to you about the upcoming Nokia flagship phone with innovative Penta-lens camera design.
Few days back, the same source on Baidu has leaked the design of Nokia 10’s Penta-lens camera module, showing off the HMD Global’s impressive idea.
The sketch posted by the China-based source shows off the camera modular featuring five camera lenses in total, and two LED flash. The leaked smartphone is not the Nokia 8 (2018), with the rumours claiming that this could be the highly-anticipated Nokia 10, that’s also said to be in the works. Nokia 8 (2018) and Nokia 9 are two separate devices with the traditional dual-camera setup.
The sketch shows the camera lens on a circular ring, with a fingerprint sensor below the camera module. The leaker also suggests that the Nokia 10 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and also will feature glass-back design and it will sport a stunning 18:9 display.
The Nokia 10 phone won’t be unveiled anytime soon, with the source adding that will phone will reportedly be unveiled later this year and won’t make an appearance at the MWC 2018. The mass production of the rumoured phone is still being planned out, though it’s likely to start in mid-2018.
HMD Global may be planning to unveil the phone at Germany-based trade show IFA 2018 in late August, and it will become available for purchase by end of this year. Like any 2018-phone, the Nokia 10 will be also powered by Snapdragon 845, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful mobile chipset.
