.Operating an Android device that is slow is a bit annoying, sometimes it might be caused by the your low phone storage or when you have low RAM especially to those who are using low end devices with ram of 512 or below.

As it is, many people have been experiencing this problem so it is never new to us, some thought that it's a part of hanging or maybe they have too much apps running on their background. I know that if some people are asked to suggest on how to increase Android speed - they'll suggest third party apps but no, third party app is also one of the major thing that makes an Android phone to be slow at times.

However, I've experienced such thing before also many people have been anticipating how to get rid of such bug for a long period of time. Steps On How To Speed Up An Android Device:
Like I said earlier, this tutorial doesn't demand any app for you to do it but I'll make use of what is installed in your Android settings.

Firstly, navigate to your PHONE SETTINGS then scroll straight down to your ABOUT PHONE.

Scroll straight down inside your ABOUT PHONE, then tap on BUILD NUMBER continuously (5 times or more) until you become a DEVELOPER.

Go back and you'll see DEVELOPERS OPTION shown to you, click on it.

Inside the DEVELOPERS OPTION, scroll down slowly until you find these three options I'll list out.
  • Windows Animation Scale
  • Transition Animation Scale
  • Animator Duration Scale
By default it is set as

Now you need to change all the three listed options above to 0.5× or .5× (i.e you'll change the  to 0.5× or .5×).

Note: I'll like to use this opportunity to highlight the works of the three listed options above.
  • Window Animation Scale: The work is just to make anything you tap on your phone to Open faster or slower (it depends on what scale you selected).
  • Transition Animation Scale: This works in handy with the NavBar, I mean that it deals with your phone navigation bar. For instance when you press the back button, minimizing button or menu/option button you'll notice what am saying but know you that it also depends on the scales you selected for it.
  • Animator Duration Scale: Ahm, I'm not too sure about it but I must say that it supports Transition Animation Scale.
Now, Scroll down slowly until you get to where these two options are located but it should be after you must have been through with setting up the above three listed options.
  • Don't keep activities
  • Background process limit.

Without stretching much words, I'm sure that the name itself have already define what it does but I'll still highlight a little bit of each of them at least to make you understand properly.
  • The work of DON'T KEEP ACTIVITIES is to clear any background running apps whenever you exit the app.
  • And the work of BACKGROUND PROCESS LIMIT is to set how many apps you want to run on background. By default it is set to be STANDARD LIMIT.
Now, it if left for you to decide if you don't want to keep any activities running after you exit an app or not and for the second option "BACKGROUND PROCESS LIMIT" it should not be in STANDARD LIMIT for those who have low end device, try setting your own limit - something like 3 or 4.

In conclusion:
Setting up your Android smartphone with the above tutorial, I'm sure that your phone speed must increase, I tried it and it worked for me so it'll also work for you as well.
