[Voice Of The People] Reactions Towards Android Oreo 8.0 Update On Google Pixel XL
Almost all the people around the world are aware of the Android 8.0 Oreo update which was released few weeks back, presently many Google phones have already gotten the update (especially Google Pixel XL).
After the launch of Android 8.0 Oreo, some rumors started coming out about the Android P '9.0' which says that Google has already started working on Android P '9.0' while on the other hand it is the suggested names for Android P '9.0'.
Anyways, we can't confirm the news now because it's too early to start broadcasting a news which we don't even know if it's true or not but as it is, we guess that it should be the truth.
Getting back to the Android Oreo 8.0 update, we noticed that most people are encountering problem regarding to the update.
A post was made on a Google Pixel Facebook group by Robert Heil which says "Battery life sucks with Oreo.........making me want to jump to the Note 8 even more", this post brought up many argument which made the facebookers to start pointing out the bugs they are getting on their Google Pixel in Android 8.0 Oreo update.
Via the comment section in the post, another Facebooker commented "Totally agree.. planning to opt for factory reset first and see how it goes from there" which means that he wants to get back to his previous update.
It's obvious that all the People using Google Pixel will not get the same problem, the poster said he's having a battery issue and via the comment box, another person said that his phone has been giving him random app issues. Apps force closing and just taking longer to load, WiFi also doesn't always show the current network around.
Whereas, there are others who are not getting any bug or error at all. Still in the comment section of the post made by Robert Heil, another Facebooker dropped his own experience on his Google Pixel phone with Oreo update saying "I have had a massive headache with my pixel since the latest OS. Freezing, battery dies quickly, apps crashing, phone randomly resetting and left in loops and many other issues".
Hush, this is a very serious post which dragged the attention of almost the group members. Solution was also commented on the post but it can be effective only when the user applies the method.
For the solution to the problem, Joseph D'Alessandro commented saying "I was having battery issues as well. I did a factory reset, Viola great battery again. I had read somewhere, after every OS upgrade, it is recommended you do a factory data reset to get optimal performance".
Another Facebooker by name Chris Sucharda also said "Put your phone down once in while and go for walk. Using phone 24/7 will always kill the battery faster no matter what the OC".
Perhaps, the above solutions might work only if the users believes that it'll be successful and go for it. On the other hand, some people also dropped the idea of going for a new device (Samsung Galaxy Note 8 precisely).
To conclude the discussion, another Facebooker "Nnaemeka Okenwa" gave his own words by saying "You all know that the Android Oreo just got launched and it's possible to come with many bugs but I guess the bugs will be reducing as more updates come. Maybe in 8.1 version, who knows".
Finally:
What is Google doing about these bugs laid by the people, do you think that Google is actually going for the Android 9.0 update when there is more problem to fix in their recent Android version update. Perhaps, they should fix those bugs in their next update like one of the commenter said.
Anyways, let's hear from for own point of view regarding to this problem and how to fix them, do interact with us via the comment box.
