Not An Inch Close Comparing Snapchat With Facebook
OMG!!! What's the fight for?
Today in XDA Off-Topic group on Facebook, I created a thread "Sooner or later, Snapchat will take the lead over Facebook" and there has been so much argument. Some people agreed with me but not too sure of themselves and most of them completely disagreed which I knew they were right about it.
But at the other hand, the group members are mostly from India and maybe they are still angry about what the CEO of Snapchat one said earlier "Snapchat is not for poor countries like India" forgetting that without Indians on Snapchat, it's totally nothing. Later on, it was proved that Indians are the highest Snapchat user.
However, looking at it in other prospectives, I guess that they are right as well, Regarding to the points and evidences they hold to prove that Snapchat cannot be compared with Facebook at all angles.
In the thread, a Facebook user "Marshalls Stan" Commented "log sc k bina reh skte hai fb k bina nhi bc fb live hone pr paise milte hai nd fb life ka hi ek hissa bn chuka hai games account fb se link rehte Hai. sc tatti hi rhega likh k de rha" which was later translated by Yuvraj Patel "People can live without Snapchat but not without facebook.
People get paid for coming live on fb.
Fb is now part of our life. Games account are linked with facebook. Snapchat is shit and will be shit always."
As the discussion was going on, Bibhas Ranjan said "both have a different audience while snapchat target younger age peeps, facebook target almost everyone, Facebook is available on all platform while snapshot does not. while fb attracts people worldwide snapchat does not as it needs fast internet. + there are other few reasons. there is no way sc could beat fb in upcoming era."
Yash Sawalakhe also dropped his opinion saying "lol no... snap is different platform than fb....if both were same than snap would not exist.... but yeah snap is better.... but its more like chatting app.... but on the other hand fb is a vast platform with many features".
Another group member "Siddhesh Hemade" said "You Compare an app which was basically created to share nudes with something which has revolutionized the way of Social networking only when you smoke some high quality stuff". While others were busy saying "Father is father and Facebook needs real competitor than Snapchat...
Lmao even Instagram has monthly more users than Snapchat and it's faaar better it's not about being an Indian or not, snapchat was a good concept but now almost every social media has those features so snapchat will pretty much die. I guess. No offence who love that app but it's just my opinion.
Another Facebook user also said that Snapchat should be compared with Instagram and not Facebook.
To conclude it, Lets not forget that facebook can do absolutely everything Snapchat can. Maybe even in a much better way. You can read a whole lot of the stories in the group.
Conclusion:
Looking at their point of view, you'll notice that this is not about the secret speech the CEO of Snapchat said earlier but it's about the features and what most people does with it.
